CUOIERIE MECCANICHE BRELLIStarted by an Italian shoemaker Bruno Bartalucci in the beginning of 1930, the Brelli`s shop becomes a little factory that, with the help of machinery and expert artisans, produces leather masterpieces and becomes "Cuoierie Meccaniche Brelli". In 1950, Brelli moves his factory to Castelfiorentino, and with his 25 artisans, sell their products all over Italy. Eventually, Bruno leaves his business to Fabrizio Ciampi, who has continued with dedication the work started by his grandfather for over 60 years. Fabrizio Ciampi supplies straps for the historical legendary Luminor Panerai watches from 1938-97 and at the request of Ing. Dino Zei, Panerai managing director, designs "Kodiak" treatment that allows for leather strap to remain in sea water for 24 hours. Later Fabrizio Ciampi patented this treatment.
